About these Passwords<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Castlevania 3 allows players to choose a partner to fight alongside Trevor, but obtaining a partner will cause the other to leave if you already have one. This is important to keep in mind, because these passwords were taken from an old physical publication that was made in an era where it was impractical to publish large lists of passwords. As a result, only the final set of passwords for Stage A-1 allow the player to choose Trevor’s partner. However, the fact that these passwords also use the famous “HELP ME” cheat, which gives the player 10 lives instead of 2, makes up for the handicap of not being able to enter passwords for specific partners in the early game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hit the Select Button on the title screen to choose the password option. Pressing Start will take you to the name entry screen. You must enter the name HELP ME in order for the passwords to work. After that, you are free to enter one of the passwords below. Please note that the final three passwords all take you to Stage A-1 (the final stage) and only differ from each other so far as they allow you to choose from any of the three heroes that join Trevor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
