Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos is a platforming action game for the NES. Ryu’s girlfriend, Irene, has been kidnapped by a mysterious villain one year after Ryu’s fateful battle with Jaquio. Once again, our hero must set off on a dangerous quest to save a loved one. While this sequel closely follows the formula of the first game, new threats in the form of strong winds, slippery ice, and rushing water await players in each of Ninja Gaiden II’s seven stages. Ryu also has a new power that allows him to create two ninja doubles that can use all of his abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
