Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest <\/em>is the second entry in the famous Castlevania <\/em>series. Simon has been cursed after defeating Dracula. He must collect the Dark Lord’s remains, then reassemble them in Castlevania and destroy Dracula a second time to dispel the curse. However, the task will not be easy, because each of Drac’s five parts are hidden in monster infested mansions and Simon will have to solve many riddles to find them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This game differs from the first, as it features an open world along with an emphasis on exploration and puzzle solving. Towns, permanent whip upgrades, a day\/night cycle, and new weapons have been added to the Castlevania <\/em>formula. Simon can also level up to become more powerful by collecting hearts dropped by monsters. Like in the original game, players will still have to jump from platforms, battle monsters, and face the occasional boss. Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest <\/em>also features a password system that allows players to pick up where they left off should they choose to take a break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
