Earthbound Halloween is a ROM hack of Earthbound that was created by Radiation (AKA Toby Fox) for Starman.net’s Halloween Funfest back in 2008.* Radiation created Earthbound Halloween as an unofficial sequel to the original SNES game, Earthbound. Original music, custom remixes, new enemies, and areas designed specifically for the game make it one of the most complete ROM hacks ever made. Many of the core gameplay features of Earthbound remain intact, however, and players familiar with the original game will recognize its turn-based combat system. Radiation included several dungeons for players to explore and towns that can be visited, complete with shops and other services. Players will also unlock three more heroes that join the main character’s party over the course of the adventure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

* The official name of this ROM Hack may be Radiation’s Halloween Hack: Bad Fur Day Edition according to ROMhacking.net, though it is more widely known as Earthbound Halloween.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
