Burai Fighter is a Shoot \u2018em Up developed by Taxan for the NES. This title differs from most Shooters in that the player is able to fire in eight directions. The game also shifts between side scrolling and isometric stages. The goal of this title is to defeat the seven super brains known as \u201cBurai\u201d. These brains have been amassing armies with the intent to conquer the galaxy and it is up to the hero to confront them using a massive arsenal of weapons. Lasers, rockets, and energy rings that can pass through walls are just a few of the powerups available in this game. Seven stages and four difficulties await players who wish to challenge this game. It is also possible to resume a gameplay session using passwords.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
