Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom is an action platformer developed for the Nintendo Entertainment System by Tecmo and the series\u2019 third entry. Ryu has been framed for the murder of his girlfriend, Irene, and sets out to clear his name by investigating the secret lab where she disappeared. Ninja Gaiden III features all of the familiar elements of the first two games: the ability to scale walls, devastating magical attacks, boss fights, cinematics cutscenes, and challenging stages. In addition to the familiar gameplay elements, players have access to a powered up version of the Dragon Sword, the ability to hang from pipes and vines, and new ninja arts. Ninja Gaiden 3 is composed of eight stages. A password feature is available on the Famicom version or via a ROM Hack known as Ninja Gaiden II- Restored.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
