Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete is a PS1 remake of Lunar: The Silver Star, which was originally released on the Sega CD. Players assume the role of Alex, a boy from the village of Burg, who wishes to become the Dragon Master. Alex’s journey kicks off when his friend, Ramus, takes him to a hidden cave in search of treasure. Over the course of the adventure, Alex and his friends will travel the known world and beyond in hopes of saving the world from the evil Vile Tribe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In usual RPG fashion, the player controls a party of up to five characters. While controlling Alex on the map, players can talk to NPCs, buy items, and interact with objects. Enemies appear in dungeons and will chase Alex if they see him. If an enemy collides with Alex, the party will have to fight a battle or successfully flee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Battles are turn based and take place on a field where playable characters can be moved via commands or automatically by issuing the attack command. Battles can be fully automated by using the AI command. Characters can fight with basic weapons or unleash a variety of special abilities and spells. Just like any RPG, the party will earn money and experience by winning battles. When party members earn enough experience, they gain more health, magic, and power as well as occasionally learn new abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lunar allows players to save their progress using a PS1 memory card. Players are free to save their game nearly anywhere at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
