Join Crono, Marle, Luca, Frog, and more unique heroes as they journey through time and space to save the world from an ancient evil. Chrono Trigger is a turn based RPG with a variety of unique mechanics. Players explore towns, dungeons, and fight enemies just like in any other RPG, but they will also be able to play a variety of mini games that offer rewards. Time travel figures heavily into this game and the player’s decisions in the past can affect the present as well as the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enemies are visible in dungeons, so player’s can avoid them if they are quick enough. The combat engine is seamlessly integrated into the game world, with battles taking place on the same screen as exploration. Up to three characters can be present in the party and each character learns a special type of magic. Players can combine party members’ magic and attack skills into double or triple techs where two or more characters work together to deal extra damage. Chrono Trigger also features multiple endings that change depending on the player’s actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
