Ghouls \u2018n Ghosts is the sequel to the arcade game, Ghosts \u2018n Goblins. Luficer (known as Loki in this port) has returned with an army of ghouls. After hearing news of Loki\u2019s return, Arthur sets out to save Prin-Prin, but is too late as her soul is captured right before his eyes. Arthur will have to venture into the underworld once again to save his beloved from the evil Lucifer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Players will have to battle their way through a series of stages to save the princess in this platformer. Arthur can jump over obstacles and use thrown weapons to dispatch bad guys. Weapons can be thrown directly in front of the player as well as upwards. Arthur can find a variety of weapons which include flying disks, axes, and his trademark lance, locked in chests found in each stage. Upgrades for Arthur\u2019s armor and extra lives can also be found in chests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Getting hit will will destroy Arthur\u2019s armor, leaving him in his underwear. Taking another hit while unarmored will result in death. Players can re-armor Arthur by finding a replacement in chests. Special armor that can take extra hits if the player finds more power ups can also be acquired from chests. Falling is also lethal. Arthur starts with two lives and will have to continue from the start of the current stage if the player runs out of lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
