Description<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In Sonic the Hedgehog, players control a super fast blue hedgehog named Sonic as he attempts to stop the evil Dr. Robotnik who has turned the animals of South Island into machines. Sonic will have to dash through seven unique zones that are split into smaller stages. Each stage is filled with dangerous traps like spikes, bottomless pits, and animals trapped in robotic bodies. As he explores, Sonic will have to brave flooded areas, solve puzzles, and defeat Robotnik at the end of each zone. Sonic can collect Rings in each stage that count towards an extra life, but he will drop his rings if hit by a trap or enemy. Players will also find power ups like Shields and Invincibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
