Description<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Torque, a convicted murderer is sent to Abbott Prison on Carnate Island off the coast of Maryland. Both the prison and island have a gruesome past as Torque quickly learns when the prison is overrun by monsters. In The Suffering, Torque will have to find his way off the island while fighting off hordes of creatures and even the inmates. He will also encounter a variety of ghastly monsters and spirits like Horace, who was executed in the electric chair and the mysterious Dr. Killjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As players explore Carnate Island they will find Tommy Guns, Shivs, Pistols, TNT, and a ton of other weapons. Torque can also transform into a horrific beast capable of tearing his opponents to shreds. If low on health, Torque can take some Xombium to heal up. Players can also choose a path for Torque to take by helping or harming characters they meet along the way. Assisting the people Torque meets unlocks the good ending. On the other hand, killing characters results in an evil ending. Players can pick up where they left off using The Suffering\u2019s memory card feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
