Description<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

River City Ransom EX is an enhanced version of the original NES Beat \u2018em Up. The Ganglord Slick has taken over River City High School. Alex and Ryan must defeat Slick, but the going won\u2019t be easy as they must first fight their way through Slick\u2019s personal army. While a Beat \u2018em Up at heart, River City Ransom also uses RPG mechanics. Players can collect money from defeated enemies and use it to purchase new skills as well as stat upgrades. This version of the game also has a few new features. Players can recruit bosses, have more than one ally, battle new gangs, and use new weapons. Unfortunately, Co-Op mode was removed from this release of River City Ransom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
