Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare is based on the 2003 TV show featuring the heroes in a half-shell. The game is split into three sections, each of which focusing on a story arc from the series. In the first storyline, the Turtles must save April O’Neil and Casey Jones from the Triceraton Republic. Two other seasons were also featured in this title. Players can unlock a special version of the 1991 arcade game Turtles in Time by fulfilling certain prerequisites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In TMNT 3, players can control Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, or Raphael as they battle the Foot Clan, Triceratons, and other foes from the series. Each Turtle has his own abilities and special attacks. Players can also use the touch screen at certain points to call another Turtle for assistance in combat or with clearing certain obstacles. The DS touch screen is also utilized for puzzles and players will often have to use it to turn valves and activate switches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
