Description<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the classic arcade hit, Asteroids, players control a single ship in an asteroid field. The objective is to shoot as many space rocks as possible and survive. The player\u2019s ship will be destroyed if it makes contact with any space debris. Players can move their ship and fire in any direction. Moving off of the edge of the screen will send the ship to the opposite side of the asteroid field. The game becomes more difficult as time passes, because the asteroids become more numerous. Scoring set amounts of points earns players extra ships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
