Description<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Resident Evil is the first entry in the classic Survival Horror series of the same name. Players control Chris or Jill, two young police officers in a special unit called STARS. Chris and Jill must explore a seemingly abandoned mansion filled with zombies and other dangers in hopes of rescuing their comrades who disappeared while investigating the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resident Evil features two story lines with one placing players in the role of Chris and the other featuring Jill. Both heroes will have to solve puzzles and slay zombies as well as other horrible creatures in order to survive the ordeal. Players are given guns, ammunition, and other supplies as they explore the mansion. However, these resources are finite and it is possible to run out of vital items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choices made by players over the course of the game will impact the ending they get and there are six end scenarios in total. Players can also unlock special perks by getting the best endings and\/or beating the game in less than 3 hours. Resident Evil uses a memory card based save system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
