Bowser Jr. has kidnapped Princess Peach! Mario and Luigi will have to rescue Peach yet again in New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo DS. This 2.5D platformer features classic Mario Bros. action with a few twists. Mario and Luigi will have to brave eight dangerous worlds filled with hazards much like in earlier games, but they also have new powers. The blue turtle shell can make the Mario brothers invincible if they duck while wearing it and allows them to spin around if they duck while running. Players will also find the Mega and Mini Mushrooms, which grow or shrink Mario respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Super Mario Bros. features plenty of secrets to unlock and many of the stages have unique features like giant fish that can eat large portions of the terrain. Players can control either Mario or Luigi in story mode. They can also face off against friends in a variety of multiplayer minigames. This game uses a built-in battery save to record the player\u2019s progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
