Assume control of John Morris or Eric Lecarde as they hunt the evil vampiress, Countess Bartley, across Europe in Castlevania: Bloodlines. <\/em>Both Morris and Lecarde are descendants of the famous Belmont vampire hunter clan. Morris wields a powerful whip, while Lecarde is master of the spear. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The heroes must conquer six stages spread across Europe that will take them from the ruins of Dracula\u2019s castle to Atlantis and beyond. Every stage is populated by all sorts of monsters and protected by a boss. Players can break candles and lamps to find various power ups that range from weapon upgrades to sub-weapons like the ax and holy water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Players can also execute special moves that include diagonal attacks and high jumps. Castlevania: Bloodlines <\/em>features three difficulty modes and a password feature that allows players to continue where they left off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
