Ikari Warriors II: Victory Road picks up where the first game left off with Paul and Vince celebrating their victory. On the plane ride home the duo is suddenly transported to another world by an alien named Zada, who explains that his world has been conquered by Zang Zip. The warriors have no choice but to defeat the tyrant if they wish to return home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ikari Warriors II features run and gun action similar to that of the first game, but with a few new twists. In this game players can strafe while firing the gun and the heroes have a health bar that allows them to take several hits before dying. New weapons like the boomerang and sword are also available. These weapons can be upgraded and players can buy a variety of items like health restoring potions from shops using hearts dropped by monsters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
