Arcade Mode<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wait for the screen that says \u201cThe word <\/strong>\u201ccode\u201d has different definitions\u201d, then press:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 A, B, A, C, A, B, then B <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If entered correctly, the letters will turn red and Scorpion will say \u201cGet over here!\u201d. This will unlock all Fatalities and blood effects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secret Boss (Reptile)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To unlock the battle with Reptile, start the game in one player mode. Fight until you get to the area known as \u201cThe Pit\u201d, which is a bridge over some spikes. Follow the instructions below if you see a shadow cross the moon.*<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Win both rounds in The Pit with a flawless victory<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Do not use the block button during these rounds<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Finish the opponent off with a Fatality<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If done correctly, your character will face Reptile at the bottom of The Pit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Note: This only works if a shadow crosses the moon over The Pit. Use the Super cheat code below and set Flag2 on the cheat menu to force the shadow to appear.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Super Cheat Mode<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the game start\/options screen, enter the following button combination: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Down, Up, Left, Left, A, Right, then Down <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This unlocks the cheat menu which gives players access to Mortal Kombat\u2019s <\/em>famous \u201cBlood Code\u201d and many other settings. Select the \u201cCheats Enabled\u201d to change settings like the chop-chop mini-game, starting map, and even the order of opponents. Players can also toggle various Flags which have the following effects:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FLAG0 and FLAG1 – Starts players off with extremely low health<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FLAG2 – Makes sure a shadow appears in front of the moon in The Pit, which makes it possible to battle Reptile<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FLAG3 – Changes the moon shadow into Probe Software\u2019s Fergus McGovern\u2019s face<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FLAG4 – Gives the player hints about Reptile before every battle<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FLAG5 – Infinite continues<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FLAG6 – The computer will perform Fatalities<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FLAG7 – Background is permanently set to Palace Gates<\/p>\n\n\n\n
