Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master places players in control of Joe Mushashi once again in this action packed platformer. Neo Zeed has returned, now led by an enigmatic figure called the Shadow Master. Only Joe Mushashi can defeat the evil Shadow Master and vanquish the crime ring once and for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like its predecessors, Shinobi III features ninja themed platforming action with an emphasis on strategy. Joe can use his signature shurikens (which look more like kunai) to dispatch foes from afar or take bad guys out up close with a knife slash. Players can also perform new moves like a flying kick and double jump. Each stage is filled with enemies to battle and defended by a boss at the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joe Mushashi has an extended life bar in this game compared to some of the other titles in the series and can find items that restore his health. He can also use ninjitsu to unleash powerful attacks. Players initially start with four ninjitsu techniques and can learn more by defeating bosses. Joe can also power up his shuriken for more damage by picking up special items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
