Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many of these cheats require a second controller to activate. Players will also have to enter most of the cheats on the Options screen. It is worth noting that the player can change settings like difficulty, number of ships, and number of continues once a cheat that requires certain settings has been activated. Players can also have all of these cheats active at the same time if desired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stage Select<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enter the options menu and highlight the Sound Test option. Press the A Button to listen to the soundtrack in the following order: Sound 1, Sound 1, Sound 9, and Sound 2. A stage select option will appear at the bottom of the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use the D-Pad to select the stage you want and press Start to return to the title screen. Start the game, select your aircraft, and the game will commence on the selected stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

99 Ships<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enter the option menu and set the options as follows: Difficulty = Hard, Ships = 2, Continues = 1. Next, select the sound test option and cycle to Sound 65, then press the A Button. Start the game and you should have 99 extra lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weapon Power Up<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: This cheat requires a second controller to be plugged into the Sega Genesis.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set the options as follows: Difficulty = Hard, Ships = 3, Continues = 2. Now move to the sound test and choose Sound 77 and press the A Button. Start the game, then press the B Button on Controller 2 during a stage to increase your aircraft\u2019s experience level. The current ship will gain levels all the way up to the maximum of 20 as long as the B Button is held down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

99 Bombs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: This cheat requires a second controller to be plugged into the Sega Genesis.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the Ship Select screen, press C, A, C, A, Start, then B on Controller 2. A chime will indicate that the code worked. You will begin the game with 99 bombs. This cheat can be entered at the start of any stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
