Pause Cheats<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Press Start during gameplay to pause the game before entering the following cheats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reset Health, Weapons, and Timer<\/td>Press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, then A<\/td>Refills Mowgli’s life bar, weapons, and gives the player extra time<\/td><\/tr>
Upside Down Mode<\/td>Press Left, A, Right, Down, B, A, Left, Left, C, Right, Up, Down<\/td>Automatically restarts the game, so do not enter it if you do not want to lose progress. Flips all of the characters upside down<\/td><\/tr>
Warp to Baloo<\/td>Press B, A, Left, Up, Up<\/td>Start out near Baloo<\/td><\/tr>
Warp to Kaa<\/td>Press C, A, A, B, C, A, A<\/td>Start out near Kaa<\/td><\/tr>

Debug Menu Cheat<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The debug Menu features all kinds of cheats that make the game easier. To get started, begin the game as you normally would and run right until you see a pit with nothing on the other side. A snake occupies the ledge of this pit and Mowgli will try to balance himself over the precipice when you reach the spot. Next, leap into the canyon, then hit Start to pause the game when Mowgli is level with the ledge as he is falling. Enter the following while the game is paused:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

B, A, Down, C, Right, A, B, Left, A, Right, Down, B, A, Left, Left, C, Up, Right, then Left<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If entered correctly, the code will bring up the debug menu which has the following options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Map View Mode<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No Energy Loss <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Infinite Lives<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Infinite Time<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Single Gem Mode<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Force Bonus Level<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Palette Editor<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Solid Floor <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Press the A Button to toggle these options on or off. Hit Start to begin the game with the debug settings in effect. Most of these effects are self explanatory, but it is worth noting that map view mode turns off collision and allows the player to move around the stage freely. Solid floor mode prevents Mowgli from dying when he falls into a pit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: Mowgli has to be level with the ledge he jumped from and between the ledge and the tree to the right when you pause or the debug menu will not appear. Getting Mowgli in the right spot can take several tries.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
