Description<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure places players in control of Harry Jr., son of the famed Harry from the original Pitfall! Game. Harry Jr.\u2019s father is kidnapped while exploring some ancient ruins and it\u2019s up to our hero to track his dad down. Players will explore jungles, ancient ruins, and even abandoned mines while searching for Harry Jr.\u2019s dad. These areas are infested with monsters, wild animals, and all sorts of traps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harry Jr. has a life bar that is displayed as an alligator chasing him in the upper right side of the screen. Getting hit by enemies or traps will make the alligator move closer to Harry Jr. and he will die if it gets him. Picking up hearts will heal Harry Jr. and he has a stockpile of lives that can be replenished with 1 Ups. Players will also find a number of weapons scattered throughout each stage that include a boomerang and rocks that can be fired from Harry\u2019s sling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
