How to submit saves, passwords, and cheats.
There are plenty of passwords, cheats, and even save files online. Many of them are really high quality, but there's also a lot of inaccurate information, especially when it comes to cheats and passwords. Over the years I've made testing and posting the cheats/passwords in the old books and mags I own a priority in an effort to correct some of the errors floating around out there. I do my best to post new info regularly and a lot of people share new info on this site.
However, there's thousands of games and I can only do so much. On top of that region differences can make the process very complicated. New passwords, cheats, saves, and feedback on existing stuff is extremely helpful.
If you have a save file you want to share, please make sure it is in a native format like .srm or .mcr (no save states please) and send it to tankmage.retropower@gmail.com
For cheats and passwords, it's easiest to either send an email or leave a comment on the cheat/password page for the game in question. That said, I get a lot of mail and I may miss a message occasionally, so let me know in this thread if you send something.
I also try to credit everyone who submits information. Please indicate if you wish to remain anonymous or would like to be credited under a specific name.
Members are also more than welcome to pos their own topics about cheats etc. in this section of the forum.
